Cough, forgot Neil Young too. there's loads more with some of the more obscure albums being by that little yank songwriter Paul Williams who went on to act in things like Smokey & The Bandit :.)

The 70s started for me when Ride a White Swan by
T Rex hit the top 20 in February 1971 and ended with Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie in August 1980.
And in between there was some of the greatest and worst music ever recorded

My 70's fare started out as glam-rock totp fodder but quickly evolved into anything that was broadcast from a point north sea to the circles in your mind.

Re: 1970s music you grew up with
All of these were key in my very earliest (and ongoing) obsession with music. I was only about 7 or 8 when most of these came out.

I mostly blame these for the last 38 years and thousands of pounds spent on electric guitars...

Mud – Tiger Feet
Sweet – Hell Raiser
Slade – Cum On Feel The Noize
Gary Glitter – I’m The Leader of The Gang (I Am!)
Osmonds – Crazy Horses
